How does the Budget Optimizer work?

Enter your revenue target, AOV, margin, CAC, ROAS, and repeat rate. The tool computes unit economics deterministically (orders needed, new customers needed, allowable CAC, break-even ROAS, LTV, LTV:CAC) and passes those numbers to Sam, who drafts three allocation scenarios, tactical mandates, AOV strategy, creative directions, retention flows, CRO actions, a 12-month brand calendar, and a 90-day playbook. Connect Meta to ground the scenarios in S-curve optimization across your real campaigns.

What platforms does the optimizer support?

Quick mode produces channel-mix allocation suggestions across Meta (Facebook/Instagram), Google (Search/Display/YouTube), and TikTok at the channel level. Connected-mode S-curve optimization currently supports Meta only; campaign-level marginal-ROAS-equalization runs against your Meta ad account's 3-month data. Google Ads and TikTok appear in scenario allocations as channel suggestions, not measured optimization.

How are the scenario projections grounded?

Connected mode runs S-curve marginal-ROAS-equalization across your qualified Meta campaigns (6+ weeks of data per campaign) and returns a per-campaign confidence rating ('low' / 'medium' / 'high') alongside model R² for each fit. Sam's scenarios reference those mathematical outputs directly. Quick mode runs without OAuth, so projections are LLM estimates over the deterministic unit-economics floor, framed as the plan's intent rather than a forecast. The tool does not produce statistical confidence intervals or run incrementality testing.

What optimization goals can I choose?

Inputs include current ROAS, target ROAS (optional), current CAC, blended margin, repeat rate, and revenue target. The tool computes the allowable CAC the plan must hit and the break-even ROAS your margin requires. Three scenarios (Conservative, Balanced, Aggressive) vary total budget, paid-media share, and channel mix. Each scenario shows expected ROAS, expected revenue, and expected new customers grounded in the unit-economics floor.

Why does category matter for the plan?

Category drives the brand calendar (sale events, seasonal campaigns), competitor context, retention-flow benchmarks, and creative direction. Category does not change the unit-economics math; those are computed from your inputs deterministically.

Does the tool estimate ad spend or revenue?

No. Spend and revenue come from your inputs (quick mode) or from your connected Meta account (connected mode). The tool does not estimate or invent figures. Required ad budget, allowable CAC, customer count, and break-even ROAS are computed deterministically from your inputs.
