Landed cost is the total cost to get a product from factory to your warehouse, including product cost (COGS), freight, insurance, import duties/tariffs, and customs broker fees. Many ecommerce brands only track COGS, missing 15-40% of their true cost. This means margins are thinner than you think, and some products may actually lose money.

How do Section 301 tariffs affect my products?

Section 301 tariffs are additional duties imposed on goods from China, currently at 25% for most product categories on top of regular import duties. If you source from China, your effective tariff rate could be 25-37% depending on the product category. Our calculator factors in both base MFN rates and Section 301 tariffs automatically.

How do I calculate the tariff impact on my margins?

Vietnam, Cambodia, and Bangladesh have moderate rates (2-12%). China has the highest effective rates due to Section 301 tariffs (25-37%).
