Agent-Referred Revenue

Revenue from purchases influenced by AI agent recommendations. Currently invisible to standard analytics because the user journey — ask AI agent → get recommendation → Google the brand → buy — appears as 'branded search' or 'direct traffic' in GA4. The only way to measure it is through agent probing (tracking your mention rate) combined with correlation analysis against unexplained revenue spikes.

Why it matters

It is revenue you are already earning and cannot see. Agent-referred sessions usually arrive with no referrer, so analytics files them under direct, and the channel that actually drove the purchase gets no credit in any budget decision.

In practice

Post-purchase survey is the only reliable capture today. Add an explicit AI assistant option to the how did you hear about us question rather than leaving buyers to pick other.
