Feed Optimization
Structuring product titles, descriptions, attributes, and schema markup so AI agents can accurately parse, evaluate, and recommend your products. Unlike SEO (optimizing for search algorithms) or feed optimization for Google Shopping (optimizing for ad relevance), agent feed optimization targets the evaluation criteria AI agents use: attribute completeness, specification clarity, comparison-ready data points, and semantic richness. A product titled 'Protein Powder 2lb Chocolate' scores far lower than 'Premium Whey Isolate Protein Powder, Chocolate, 30g Protein, 2lb, Clean Label, Muscle Recovery.'
Why it matters
The feed is the only version of your catalogue an agent reads. A product with a thin title and no attributes is not ranked lower, it fails to match the query at all.
In practice
Write titles as attribute strings rather than marketing phrases. Brand, product, key attribute, size or variant, in that order, is more machine-legible than a clever name.
